Peter joined Alliance Medical in 2016 and became UK Medical Director in 2020, with executive responsibility for clinical governance, professional standards and medical leadership across the organisation. He is a practising consultant PET-CT radiologist and continues to report clinically alongside his executive role, maintaining close alignment with frontline practice.  He brings over 20 years’ experience across NHS and independent diagnostic imaging, combining clinical credibility with senior healthcare leadership. His focus is on partnering with regulatory, radiation safety, legal, R&D, commercial and operational teams to support safe, scalable and high-quality imaging services.

Prior to joining Alliance Medical, Peter held senior clinical and leadership roles with extensive experience in PET-CT service design, national contracts, ARSAC-linked practice and imaging research.  He brings a pragmatic, clinically grounded approach to leadership, with a strong interest in the responsible adoption of AI, while keeping systems proportionate and efficient.
