Dr Neil Fisher joined Alliance Medical as UK Chief Medical Officer in 2025, with responsibility for clinical strategy, governance, quality and patient safety across the organisation’s diagnostic and community-based services. He leads Alliance Medical’s innovation and growth agenda across Community Diagnostic Centres, imaging networks, and out-of-hospital models of care, working closely with NHS partners, regulators, and system leaders.

Prior to joining Alliance Medical, Neil was a Junior Partner at McKinsey & Company in its Healthcare Practice, advising governments, national health systems and major healthcare providers on healthcare strategy, transformation, and clinical operational improvement. His work focused on improving access, quality, and productivity across complex care pathways.

Neil is a former NHS GP and experienced senior medical leader, with deep expertise across Integrated Care Systems, clinical governance, and large-scale service transformation. He has a particular interest in diagnostics-enabled pathway redesign and the responsible adoption of innovation to improve patient outcomes and system performance.
