Welcome to South Tees PET-CT Centre. Based at James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough, we provide fast access to high-quality PET-CT diagnostics for NHS, private medical insurance and private self-pay patients. Reports are delivered to referrers in 24-48 hours.
As a specialist PET-CT centre, we provide diagnostic scanning using our innovative GE Discovery 710 PET-CT scanner. We conduct oncology, brain, vasculitis, and sarcoid PET-CT scans.
Since opening in 2018, our upmost priority has been patient satisfaction. The nearest patient and visitor carpark is V3, located next to the Endeavour Unit. Blue badge holders park for free.
South Tees PET-CT Centre is served by several bus routes, an on-site train station, local taxi firms, and hospital transport through North East Ambulance and North Yorkshire Ambulance.
In the Endeavour Unit, there is a snack bar located opposite the PET-CT waiting area which is run by volunteers and serves hot and cold drinks and snacks. In the main hospital, there is a cafeteria, WRVS shop and coffee shop, Costa Coffee, Marks & Spencer Food and WHSmiths shop.
