Located in Northern General Hospital, Alliance Medical Sheffield PET-CT Centre provides fast access to high-quality CT (with/without contrast) and PET-CT scans for NHS, private medical insurance and private self-pay patients. Reports are delivered to referrers in 24-48 hours.
Onsite, we have a GE OMNI Legend digital PET-CT scanner, the first one in South Yorkshire. This new technology delivers double the sensitivity of previous digital scanners enabling faster scan times and providing more detailed, accurate diagnostics allowing for enhanced detection of smaller lesions in the earlier stages. Available tracers are FDG and PSMA.
