Oldham PET-CT Centre
Our new PET-CT centre at Oldham boasts the first static PET-CT scanner within a Community Diagnostic Centre in the UK. Working in partnership with The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, we’re improving patient pathways and access to life-saving cancer diagnostics in Manchester and beyond.
Our new digital PET-CT will increase capacity, allowing us to see up to 30 patients per day.
Our new Siemens Biograph Vision 450 Digital PET-CT scanner will offer:
- Higher image quality and improved spatial resolution and sensitivity.
- Faster scanning and reduced dose minimising exposure to radiation.
- Advanced AI & Data Integration enhancing diagnostic accuracy.
- Larger bore and high weight capacity for patient comfort and accessibility.

The centre is easily accessible by car and bus. There is free parking available onsite and a bus route stops at the top of the road which is 5 minutes from Royal Oldham hospital and 10 minutes from Oldham town centre.
