NHS Foundation Trust secures sprint funding for MRI
Alliance Medical are already the trusted imaging provider for South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Trust, delivering a range of scan types at our newly built IDC. Recently, having reached capacity on their existing MRI scanner, they secured sprint funding. To support, Alliance Medical are deploying an MRI mobile unit - which will increase capacity swiftly and help them to reduce waiting times for their patients.
Alliance Medical's combined support includes:
- New mobile MRI service to meet rising demand
- Existing static diagnostic imaging capacity
- CT delivered through PET-CT infrastructure
This approach is now helping reduce backlog pressure rapidly, and is made possible through additional sprint funding.
