PET SIG (Specialist Interest Group) Meeting at the Christie School of Oncology ...

Thursday, October 8, 2015

Alliance Medical in partnership with The Christie School of Oncology hosted the 5th PET/CT Specialist Interest Group meeting, attended by 18 delegates.

The course was sponsored by Lynax, a radiation protection specialist from the Czech Republic.

The day gave delegates an insight into the new Alliance Medical – Christie partnership. Other course subjects included: competency framework, auto-dispensers, Gallium (Ga-68) peptide manufacture and developing proton therapy.

The day also included a tour of The Christie Nuclear Medicine department, and Alliance Medical allowed delegates to view their new GE 710 mobile scanner. Both tours were considered a very interactive part of the day.
