Terms and Conditions

Bookings
Bookings must be made using the official Alliance Medical course booking form. Alliance Medical will only invoice hospitals or commercial organisations if an official purchase orders is provided. Full payment including VAT must accompany private bookings.

Payment Terms
An invoice for the course will be issued within 48 hours. Payment if not already made, is due upon receipt of the invoice and must be made at least 14 days prior to the course start date. If the client fails to make payment when due Alliance Medical will refuse entry to the course, and will only allow entry on receipt of full payment.

Cancellations
Cancellations will only be accepted if made in writing and received at least three weeks prior to course start date and will be subject to a £20 administration fee per delegate cancellation. Cancellations received after this date will be subject to a cancellation charge of 50% of the course fee if received at least one week prior to the course start date otherwise the full fee is payable.

Transfers
Clients wishing to transfer a confirmed booking between course dates will be subject to an administration fee of £20 per delegate and/or course. Transfers made within three weeks prior to the start date of the course will in addition be subject to the cancellation fee set out above. Places may be transferred once only.

Substitution
Attendee substitution may be made subject to a £20 administration fee per delegate.

Course suitability
The Client accepts that it is their responsibility to ensure that the course meets the needs of the delegate and that the delegate has the necessary prerequisite skill level to be able to achieve the course objectives. If the Client has any doubts about the suitability of the course it should discuss this in advance with Alliance Medical.

Course Amendments
Alliance Medical reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course. In the event of cancellation all monies paid in respect of that course will be refunded or credited. Additionally, Alliance Medical reserves the right to amend the content, schedule and / or venue without prior notification.

Personal Property
Alliance Medical cannot accept responsibility for any personal belongings at any course. Personal belongings remain the sole responsibility of the owner.

Delegate Attitude
It is assumed that all delegates will attend the course with the intention of gaining maximum benefit, however if any delegate behaves in a way which is detrimental to the course or any other delegate(s), Alliance Medical reserves the right to expel the delegate(s) from the course. In these circumstances there will be no refund.

Liability
Alliance Medical reserves the right to cancel any course due to insufficient number of delegates registered for that course. In this case the only liability of Alliance Medical shall be to refund the client’s course fee. Alliance Medical shall not be liable for failure to perform its duties due to accident, death, illness, industrial dispute, and third party default or for any reason outside Alliance Medical’s reasonable control.
Alliance Medical’s liability for loss or damage, however that damage may have arisen, will be limited to a claim for damages for a maximum amount equivalent to the Client’s course fees for the course on which the loss or damage occurred. Alliance Medical will not be liable for indirect, special or consequential loss of profit or data however arising.

Copyright
The copyright and all other intellectual property rights in all course materials shall remain the sole and exclusive property of Alliance Medical. No part of the materials may be reproduced in any way nor stored in electronic form or transmitted by any means without written permission in advance.

Quality
Alliance Medical wish to ensure all delegates meet the training objectives set down for the course. All delegates will be asked to complete a confidential course assessment on completion of the course.
