The Alliance Medical group Launches Second Mobile PET

As part of the Group’s pan-European move into PET, Alliance Medical UK is providing mobile PET services with their newly acquired GE PET Advance NX/i mobile unit. As it does not require the support of a Nuclear Medicine Department due to onboard dispensing facilities, their PET mobile offers an invaluable advantage. Combining this with the provision of in-depth support and fully qualified Nuclear Medicine Technicians, Alliance Medical can offer hospitals a unique and exciting opportunity to gain access to PET.

Alliance Diagnostic S.r.l., the Italian wholly owned subsidiary of Alliance Medical group, has also introduced its first mobile PET. The official launch took place in November 2002 at the Italian Association of Nuclear Medicine’s VI National Congress in Genova, Italy.
