Our referral process

• The referral is sent to the National Accounts team
• The team acknowledges receipt and sends the referral to the reporting radiologist to be reviewed and protocol-ed
• We'll contact the patient and arrange for the scan to be carried out at the nearest convenient hospital and time
• Confirmation of the appointment, a safety questionnaire and directions to the hospital are posted to the patient
• After the scan, images are sent to the reporting radiologist before being sent back to the referring clinician
• And, if the referring clinician has any queries, the radiology group can be contacted about the report on an 0845 number
