Mobile Services
Overview
Why utilise a mobile service?
As a temporary solution, a mobile interim rental allows seamless continuation of your scanning services- And, as a long term solution, it allows you to establish your own scanning services - without the considerable capital investment
- Therefore, you have immediate access to the equipment required without being exposed to the financial risks of acquisition
How can it help me and my patients?
When imaging demand isn't sufficient to warrant a new system installation on-site- When imaging demand is permanently high and your own department needs permanent help on a regular basis
- Where waiting lists are reaching a high level and you need a temporary scanning facility to help you clear them
- Click here to listen to one of our front-line staff explain more
What can be done with a mobile unit?
Our extensive, state-of-the-art fleet caters for a wide range of modalities including:
- MRI - Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- CT - Computed Tomography
- PET/CT - Positron Emission Tomography and CT combined
- Cath Lab - Cardiac Cath Lab Units
- Lithotripsy
- Mammography
How long do we have to commit ourselves to the service?
- For as long or as short a period as you like - from one day to ten years
- You may even choose to have a mobile that visits, say, one day a week or twice a month
Does mobile mean limited facilities?
Absolutely not- As a number of our mobiles can scan up to 30 patients in a 12 hour day, there's no difference between the capabilities of a mobile service and a fixed imaging centre
How are the mobiles staffed?
Again, the choice is yours- You can engage our own expert radiographers
- Or, our skilled training team will ensure your technical staff are able to fully utilise the mobile's capability
What's included in the price?
We provide one fixed price for the rental period with flexible monthly payments- This includes:
- Choice of manufacturer and equipment
- Delivery and set-up
- Fully comprehensive service and maintenance contract on all equipment and the scanner, the trailer and the printing facilities provided on board
- Site planning guidance and emergency coverage
- Specialist advice and support through every stage
- Specialist training on trailer and system applications
How long does it take to organise?
We understand the pressures that radiology departments are under so we'll work with you as quickly as possible- After a detailed site survey, we'll take care of everything and get you up and running with the minimum of time, stress and effort
- And, our comprehensive service arrangement means that we'll continue to care for your patients by ensuring that their access to scans isn't disrupted or cancelled
