Patients Satisfaction Results (October 2006)

Alliance Medical Limited’s excellent reputation is achieved by its commitment to deliver the highest standards of healthcare. We are dedicated to assessing our performance and actively seek feedback relating to our services in order to continually learn and implement changes to our working practices.

One important aspect of our quality initiative is the undertaking patient satisfaction surveys every quarter. The survey results and comparisons help us to identify opportunities to further improve the services we provide.

During the most recent study 485 surveys were completed out of a total of 782 patients scanned creating a 62% return rate.

Here is a selection of the results:

Table 1: 99% said the radiographers were professional and caring in their attitude

Table 2: 99% of respondents said that the explanation of the examination
and procedure was clearly explained to them

Table 3: 95% said that the overall experience was excellent or good

Our staff are committed giving the highest standard of care to all our patients and are dedicated to continuous learning and development of their skills.

The positive comments received as feedback provide a sense of accomplishment for our staff, the following are an example of the comments received on the surveys:

“I think the staff were exceptionally kind, friendly and helpful and really helped me to feel more relaxed and calm”

“The technologist was excellent. I was very apprehensive but she put me at ease and made the experience a lot more tolerable. She was patient and reassuring”

“Extremely happy, I arrived 45 minutes early and was seen immediately – excellent service”

“The staff were extremely friendly, informative and professional. They could not have done more to make the process clearer, easier or more tolerable”
