How to arrange a private scan
Step 1 - see your doctor first
- If your doctor has recommended that you have a scan, we can provide you with fast access to one of our leading UK imaging centres
- Before we can arrange your appointment, we need to receive a medical request from your doctor or consultant referring you for a scan
- If they don't have the necessary forms for this, they can download them from our locations pages
Step 2 - establish your payment option
- If you're paying for the scan yourself, the cost may be less than you think - call us on 0845 045 0600 for a no-obligation quotation
- If you have private medical insurance, please check with your insurer that they'll cover the cost of the scan
Step 3 - arrange your appointment
- Once we've received the medical request form from your doctor, you - or your doctor - should simply call us on 0845 045 0600
- A member of our dedicated team will answer any questions you might have, locate your nearest imaging centre and book your appointment
