New MRI Centre at Falkirk and District Royal Infirmary

Alliance Medical are delighted to announce the opening of a brand new Magnetic Resonance Imaging scanner at a purpose built facility at Falkirk and District Royal Infirmary.

The new centre features a Siemens 1.5 Tesla MRI Avanto scanner, using Siemens highly regarded TIM technology. The new site opened on 27th March 2006. This state-of-the-art facility provides a pleasant, modern patient environment, and enables patients and clinicians to take advantage of the most recent developments in diagnostic techniques. The scanner is supported by a full range of peripheral coils and is staffed by experienced Alliance Medical Radiographers. The comprehensive service offers an extensive range of examinations and enables results to be returned quickly.

As an independent provider, this is the first service of its type in Scotland. Alliance Medical's infrastructure in partnership with Falkirk and District Royal Infirmary will bring a significant benefit to patients in Scotland.
