Throughout May, June and July we have run a wide range of evening seminars covering each of our imaging techniques. Combined with our open afternoons, this has given a large number of people the opportunity to visit the centre and learn a little about what we do here. There are however, still plenty of forthcoming events where you can explore the centre and learn more about the technology and techniques we use:

PET/CT Open Afternoons
A varied agenda that includes an overview of PET/CT technology, a review of clinical software and the opportunity to tour the latest PET/CT imaging facility. Upcoming dates include: 11th August, 10th September and the 14th October.

IDF Event
We are hosting a wine tasting evening with the support of the wine merchants Corney and Barrow for IDF members on the 9th October. If you are interested in attending, please contact Michele or Claudia on 020 535 7956.

Imaging Initiative for Secretaries
We are aware that secretaries are a point of contact for patients and are often responsible for managing the booking of scans. To help secretaries to understand what patients can expect from a visit to the Alliance Medical Imaging Centre, we are running an afternoon session on Wednesday 13th August that will be dedicated to providing ‘uncomplicated’ information on MR, CT and PET/CT.

ART on SHOW 2003

Due to the shear area of unused wall space within the building we have a constant view of some well known print artists and original pieces generously provided by the Bernard Jacobsen Gallery.

There are also a number of original pieces displayed by an independent artist Micheal J Williams
