How to pay

There are three main options for patients paying for Alliance Medical's range of scanning services. We can undertake your MRI scan, CT scan, PET/CT scan or other imaging by using one of the three options below.

1. Private medical insurance - you will need to contact your insurer to check that they will cover the cost of the scan. Alliance Medical works with a wide range of insurers that include:

  • Bupa
  • AXA PPP Healthcare
  • Aviva
  • PruHealth
  • Benenden
  • WPA
  • Simply Health
  • Cigna
  • Aetna

2. Paying for your scan yourself - you will be asked to make a payment at the time of booking your appointment. We accept major debit and credit cards as well as cash and cheques.

3. Using the NHS - if you are using the NHS, then you will need to discuss this with your local GP or referring clinician.
