Target Audience: Radiographers and Technologists
Attendance / CPD: 26-27 January 2009 (10 hours contact time CPD)
Pre-requisites: Advantageous to have attended the Intermediate course in CT
Cost: £440.62 (price effective from January 2008)

This course is a programme designed for Radiographers who wish to broaden their knowledge of CT but do not wish to undertake a formal qualification. This course looks at the more advanced clinical areas of abdominal and thoracic imaging, Musculo-skeletal CT and Neuro imaging.

Intake
The course number will be limited to approximately 20 attendees. This will allow interaction with the lecturers, achieving the most from the two days.

Lectures
This course is designed for Radiographers who wish to broaden their knowledge of CT but do not wish to undertake a formal qualification. This course looks at the more advanced clinical areas of cardiac CT, abdominal and thoracic imaging and Neuro imaging.

• Day 1
  ’Advanced’ CT Technique | Advances in MDCT Liver| CT Head Reporting | HRCT | Technological Developments/Advances in CT
  

• Day 2
  CT Trauma | MDCT: Evolution of Contrast Media | Coronary Angiography | CT Perfusion | CT Colonography.
  

Actual agenda may vary due to availability of speakers.

Course Content
Anatomy and scanning parameters covered in great depth. Best practice discussed. There is the opportunity to discuss with specialist radiologists and fellow delegates various techniques and applications.
